Automatic Film Stretching Wrapping Machine

Rotary Arm Stretch Wrapper
The rotary arm stretch wrapper secures a load by rotating a film carriage around a fixed pallet, which creates a stable and secure environment for applying stretch film. If the load is too tall, too heavy, or too unstable to spin on a turntable wrapper, this is the way to go.
After setting the product down on the floor, the operator starts the wrapping cycle. The arm then goes around the object, stretching and fastening the film from bottom to top to provide constant tension and confinement.
Rotary arm automatic stretch film wrappers are optimized for performance. They are durable, have a higher capacity, and can securely wrap lightweight or irregular loads.
How it Works
1. Load Positioning: In the wrapping zone, palletized goods remain stationary on a flat surface, typically the floor.
2. Start Wrapping: Pushing a button on the machine’s control panel initiates the wrapping cycle for the operator.
3. Arm Rotation: A film carriage-equipped mechanical arm starts to revolve around the fixed pallet.
4. Applying Film: The arm goes around the load, stretching and applying the stretch film as it goes. It revolves from the bottom to the top and back down again, covering the whole unit.
5. Film Tension: It is essential for load stability that the machine maintains a steady film tension throughout the operation.
6. Wrapping Up: The wrapping process continues until the entire weight is safely wrapped, ensuring its stability and protection.
Wrapping Configurations
Film Pre-Stretch: This option controls film stretching before loading. Modifications to this may have a significant impact on film usage and load stability.
Load Stabilizer: In order to keep large or unstable loads from tumbling off the turntable while it is rotating, specific machines provide a method of modular stabilization.
