Best Filler for Your Product

Powder Filler Auger Dosing Multilane Packing Machine
Liquid Filler Piston Pump Multilane Packing Machine

Featured packaging solutions for multilane pack machines are available for products that fall into the liquid, powder, or granular categories.

 Liquid Filler (Piston Pump)

When using a plunger pump, you may store as much as 80000cps of product. Standard non-drip nozzles ensure that the sealing area is not contaminated.

Filling and packing is an option for many items, such as those listed here: peanut butter, ketchup, olive oil, mayonnaise, water, peanut butter, dairy products, processed cheese, antibacterial hand sanitizer, etc.

The CIP (clean in place) system and the double-jacketed tank heater are popular add-ons in addition to this filling equipment.

 Powder Filler (Auger Dosing)

In the hopper, we often place additional agitators just in case. Having additional agitators in the hopper might come in handy if the composition of the powder product changes. A dust collector or some other method of dust extraction is needed in addition to the auger filling machine.

An automatic product feeder is also necessary alongside these auxiliary functions. An automatic feeder to maintain a constant product level is essential for auger fillers to operate well. A few examples of these products are protein powder, protein milk, medical powder, hiking powder, and protein powder.

Granule Filler (Volumetric System)

For granular goods, we provide a rotational, fully enclosed filler. When the shaft of the volumetric cups is in motion, granules are ground.

Unlike its linear counterparts, rotary granule feeders are able to maintain the surrounding area as clean as possible while still delivering the ground product to the filling funnel. Granules are used for a wide variety of items, and some common ones include sugar, yeast, salt, and medicine.

Multilane Packing Machine Parts
Multilane Packing Machine Parts

A multilane packaging machine houses several moving parts. All of these components cooperate to make superior stick or sachet packs. Stick packs come in various types, but all serve the same purpose. As a result, certain parts may be present in one machine but absent in another.

Control Panel
This enables the user to control and see the packing process. It has an HMI and a PLC for controlling the machine’s functions. For convenience, the screen has buttons and visual aids. Any problems with the device will show on the interface.

Printer
Some machines don’t have these parts. It is optional, as certain film stocks contain prints. Printing information on the film strip that will wrap the items works. It can print the brand name, manufacturing date, and expiry date.

Roll Stock
The film holder is a circular part of the machine. During the packing procedure, the film unravels and becomes the packaging material for the items.

Sensor
This part helps avoid damage and injuries. It guarantees the consistency and efficacy of the multilane packing machine. When the sensor detects a problem, it will trigger an alarm to alert the user. The packaging machine might shut off if it detects danger. Problematic seals are identified and prevented from moving on—no leaks or spills with no pack or filling feature.

Blade Cutter
A long, hollow tube will result from the tube-forming process. The blades of the cutters cut the tubes into narrow strips. The filling material and dimensions will determine the length of the strip.

Hopper
The hopper holds all stick-pack goods initially. The hopper size might vary from machine to machine. The stick packaging process may go continuously as long as the materials are there.

Form Tube
As it enters the stick packaging machine, the sealing material stays flat. The hollow is created in the film material in the form tube. The products will be stored in the tube before sealing.

Sealing System
To avoid leaks and contamination, the machine will apply a seal once filling the items within the stick packs. Several sealing methods apply depending on the stick packaging machine’s design.

Dancer’s Arms
These have a set of rollers that aid in keeping the film tensioned. It also keeps the film from going off the rails.

Motor
This component will transform electrical energy into mechanical energy to power the machine’s workings.

Conveyor System
This facilitates the movement of materials within the device.

Electrical Unit
It houses all the necessary electrical components to power the stick packaging machine—electrical parts, including wires, fuses, etc.

Supporting Platform
This is the structural base of the multilane packing machine.

Multilane Packing Machine Working Principle
Multilane Packing Machine Working Principle

This machine works on the same premise as vertical form fill seal packing machines. In specific stick packing machines, numerous lanes fulfill the same task. This makes the device fast-producing. Here’s how the machine works;

🔵 Film Transport and Unwinding
Check the machine’s condition before beginning any procedure. It starts the packaging process by relaying and unwinding the film. A single film sheet wraps the machine’s rolling stock while it operates. A film reel with cross-sealed jaws will grip the film as it unwinds and keeps moving. The cross-seal jaw is at the front of the packing machine, while the film reel is in the rear. The films may include content from:
• Aluminum and Polyethylene [PE]
• Nylon and Polyethylene [PE]
• Paper and Polyethylene [PE]
• Oriented polypropylene [OPP] and Polyethylene [PE]
🔵 Printing
Optional machine component. The operator feeds the film around the registration roller for date stamping machines. It will help place the pack date stamp. Sensors will recognize eye markings and adjust seal position during printing. Printers may include an ink-jet printer, a simple ribbon printer, and a thermal transfer printer.
🔵 Film Tension
The film is fed over nip rollers at this step. Nip rollers maintain a consistent tension in the film by applying a constant force throughout its surface. Keeping the dancer’s arm in the proper working posture is another benefit. In the back of the machine is a weighted pivot arm called the dancer’s arm. This dancer’s arm has many rollers. While maintaining tension, the arm will move up and down as the film unwinds. The film won’t be able to shift side to side now.
🔵 Film Cutting
After passing through the nip rollers, the film will go to the cutting area. The machine will then split the film into individual strips. The strip-cutting capacity is proportional to the number of available cutting lanes. The products’ packaging will be these strip packs. Furthermore, the blades are not powered by an electric motor. The film continues through the blades with the same tense energy it had at the beginning—special rollers help cut by coming into touch with these blades.
🔵 Stick Pack Making
The slit film will then be fed into a series of tubes. One strip may only cross one lane at a time. The collar of this component is where the slit film becomes a tube. The strip film will be folded within the tube so the ends overlap. The operator may also adjust the forming tubes to make either fin or lap seals.
To make a flat seal, lap seals overlap the two outside borders. Seals that resemble fins are from joining the inner and outer edges together. The lap seal is more aesthetically beautiful and uses less film than fin seals, making it the more practical choice.
🔵 Filling and Sealing
Hot vertical seal bars approach the film tube at this step. The film material will seal vertically when heated. One horizontal sealing jaw will then touch. This seals one stick pack top and the next bottom.
The bottom stick pack will then fall to the center of the forming tubes when the sealing jaws shut. After that, the product materials go into the stick pack tube. Ensure the proper quantity goes into the bags using auger filler, volumetric filler, or liquid pump filler.
🔵 Final Product Discharge
Once the stick packs are full, blades move in to cut them. Also, a notch may develop behind a horizontal seal’s jaw. The slashed stick packs will fall down the infeed chutes. These chutes contain flaps that open and shut at predetermined intervals.
The packets then go to the outfeed conveyor system or the containers after exiting the outfeed chutes. Single outfeed chutes assist in regulating and positioning stick or sachet packs. Stick packs move to c
