Horizontal Cartoning Machine Functions and Advantages

How Horizontal Cartoning Machine Works
- Blank Carton Processing: The process begins with the machine pulling a flat carton blank from a magazine and structuring it into a three-dimensional form. Sometimes, robotic arms or vacuum systems choose and place the carton.
- Product Feeding: When the carton is ready, the product is fed horizontally into the open side. Depending on the settings of the system, this may be done either manually or automatically.
- Carton Closing: After filling the carton, it is sealed by folding and sealing the end flaps. Tucking, gluing, or other sealing procedures, such as hot melt adhesive, may accomplish this. The finished, sealed carton is then moved out of the machine, ready for further processing or packaging.
- The last step is to remove the sealed carton from the machine and prepare it for further processing or packing.
