How Does Plastic Aluminum Tube Sealing Machine Handle Your Products?

In a manufacturing line, a plastic aluminum tube sealing machine hermetically seals plastic tubes carrying different liquid or gel items, such as food components, cosmetics, glues, and medicinal creams and medications.

Different types of plastic tubes and their contents need different methods of tube sealing. Hot air sealing, ultrasonic sealing, impulse sealing, and hot jaw sealing are all possible sealing methods.

Composite tubes are robust and flexible. They feature construction from many layers of different materials, such as thin aluminum and plastic. These tubes are widely applicable for toothpaste, making them among the most often popular tubes in stores and supermarkets.

Hot Air Plastic Tube Sealing

By a wide margin, the most common method of tube sealing is the use of hot air on plastic tubes. Hot air-sealed tubes have a wide variety of applications, including usage in research and development labs, medical manufacturing facilities, and production lines for testing and sampling new goods.

For laminate collapsible tubes, hot air sealing works well. These are tubes are from laminated plastic with one end capped and the other left open to be filled with product. Before fusing the ends using hot air and clamped firmly to close the tube.

The tube protects the product from the air contamination and other environmental hazards. For instance, the glue that sets after exposing to air has to be in an airtight tube to avoid leakage and to keep the glue from drying out.

Aluminum Tube Sealing Machine: Tube Filling And Sealing

Open-ended empty tubes go to a tube filling machine and keep in a hopper until automatic feed into the filling process. Open-ended tubes may sometimes be manually inserted into filling equipment to manufacture test samples and short batches. Some manufacturing lines put tubes into the filling machine pucks using high-speed robotic equipment.

After positioning a tube such that its open end is looking upward into a puck, a nozzle lowers into the open end of the tube. It will blow ionized air into the tube in order to remove debris, which is then vacuumed out.

The tube is now ready for filling, and a nozzle lowers into the open end of the tube to distribute the product in a clean way. The nozzle will stay close to the product level in the tube to avoid coming into contact with it. It will also keep the tube sealing area clean and clear of product spills.

After filling the tube with correct amount of product, it goes to a machine for sealing plastic tubes. This is where the plastic softens by gently blasting with hot air around the open end of the tube.

After that, the tube goes through a sealing process in which sealing jaws compresses hot plastic tube walls. The warm air at the tube’s end will force the two walls to weld, fusing them together and making a tight seal.

Using hot sealing jaws with interchangeable character stamps, the crimped plastic seal may have print with a batch number, production date, or use-by/expiration date.

After that, the tube will undergo a trimming procedure. This includes removing any excess plastic from the seal to give the tube a neat appearance and finish. Following completion of the tubes is checking process before going on to the next stage of packing. This can include using boxes or branded packaging.
