🔵 Frame: You may place portable frames into a conveyor line and put them into production. Standalone filling stations may use sliding tracks instead of motorized conveyors, requiring you to insert and remove bottles. 🔵 Nozzles and Product Route: Like piping, tubing, and nozzles, the route or pathway transports product materials from the holding tank to the containers. Plumbing and tubing materials may be altered to match product demands and prevent damage. Nozzle sizes vary by container size, so the material may match the product without causing wear.

🔵 Tank: Product returns from overflow nozzles are stored in tanks. Product, output, and fill method determine tank size, material, and placement.

Ointment Filling Techniques

🔵 Piston Filling: It can handle semi-solids and viscous materials with particles. After pumping products into containers, the piston returns to the cylinder, pushing the product into the supply line and fill heads. This method effectively dispenses costly liquids in small quantities with little waste.

🔵 Gravity Filling: The method ensures minimal dissolved oxygen in the product and avoids air introduction. The filling stem is attached to the bowl’s bottom at each container filling site, as this is the easiest filling technique. The liquid is stored above the bottles, and gravity pulls it down.

🔵 Pump Filling: This method is notable for working with dense materials like ointments. Switching between fill volumes lets one operator fill containers of different sizes.

🔵 Vacuum Filling: After the filling nozzle and sealer are placed, a vacuum pump takes air from the empty container. When filled to the pre-set level, the filling nozzle passes the product into the collecting tank. Filling without pump contact returns products to the storage tank. 

🔵 Volumetric Filling: A set-volume positive displacement piston pump distributes the product accurately. Piston pumps can flow cream and pastes without external pumps or gravity.

Ointment Sealing Techniques

Ultrasonic Sealing: Vibrations from sonotrode and anvil produce molecular heat. Vibrations move liquid molecules, softening and melting plastic, causing cohesiveness. The material seals without heat due to molecular friction.

Hot Air Sealing: A nozzle drives hot air between two layers of material, lapping the seam width and passing the panels through metal folders. Heat and melting occur before welding. Cooling follows welding. Material flows smoothly through pressure holders and metal folders.

Impulse Sealing: To repair and seal, the sealing bar closes and forces the wire and film to melt. The sealing bar closes, sending an electrical current to the end connection posts, which heat the sealing wire. 

Hot Jaw Sealing: After melting to seal, the material is cooled and set before the machine jaws open. When sealing laminate materials, a continual heat sealer keeps the machine jaws at the right temperature to seal the inside layers.
